Role Summary A senior individual-contributor engineer building and maintaining Client’s web application built on React and TypeScript with a Python backend. This person operates autonomously, delivering full-stack features from design through release. This role owns hands-on development and support across the full stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the web application, frontend (React, TypeScript), and Python backend.
- Deliver full-stack features independently, from design through release.
- Ensure the application performs reliably in a live, in-room clinical setting.
- Take over operational support for the existing application, troubleshooting and resolving operational issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with the organization’s infrastructure/endpoint teams responsible for the physical devices.
- Collaborate with design, product, and clinical stakeholders as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, operating autonomously at a senior level.
- Frontend development with React and TypeScript; backend development with Python.
- Solid understanding of how browser-based applications work.
- Experience using AI as part of the SDLC, preferably Claude Code or Codex to write, review, and ship code.
Preferred Qualifications
- PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with GCP and Azure Cloud Environments
- Healthcare and clinical domain experience.
