Senior Software Engineer - West / Public Project / C# / Java / React

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain scalable web applications, backend services and RESTful APIs.

• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews and guide junior developers on best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver software solutions.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and secure coding practices.

• Troubleshoot software issues, optimise application performance and ensure system reliability.

• Support software architecture, system integration, deployment and post-production maintenance.

• Implement DevSecOps practices and ensure compliance with software quality and security standards.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience, including technical leadership or module ownership.

• Proficiency in TypeScript (Angular, React, Next.js), C# or Java.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices and databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle).

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, object-oriented programming and software architecture.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and code reviews.

• Strong problem-solving, communication and technical leadership skills.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, IaC and DevSecOps is an advantage.
