Senior WordPress developer in Kolkata building complex WordPress-based web apps — custom themes/plugins, headless WordPress, LMS features, and third-party/CRM-ERP API integrations — using PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, MySQL, and Git; React/Next.js, GraphQL, AWS, and WooCommerce are pluses.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, WordPress Core, custom themes, and custom plugin development.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
- Good knowledge of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, custom post types, taxonomies, and REST APIs.
- Experience with third-party API integrations and external system integrations.
- Good understanding of Headless CMS / Headless WordPress architecture.
- Knowledge of marketing funnels, lead-generation workflows, forms, tracking, and marketing automation.
- Good understanding of CRM/ERP integrations, API-based data synchronization, webhooks, and authentication.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and LMS-related functionality such as courses, users, enrollments, assessments, payments, and progress tracking.
- Experience or good knowledge of developing complex WordPress-based web applications.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization, caching, security, and scalability.
- Good understanding of Git/version control and development best practices.
- Experience with WooCommerce is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of React/Next.js, GraphQL, AWS, or other modern technologies is a plus.
