Summary

Builds and maintains a station travel information system in C# and C++, integrating with displays and railway systems while ensuring fault-tolerant data exchange.

Scope of Work

· Design and develop STIS (Station Travel Information System ) software using C# and C++ (mandatory).

· Develop reusable tools for display template configuration and customization.

· Implement interfaces with displays (TVs/monitors) and railway systems (Signalling, ISCS).

· Ensure reliable, fault-tolerant data exchange across networked systems.

· Support integration, testing, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting.

· Collaborate with hardware and system teams; adhere to engineering processes and standards.

Resource Expectations

· Strong root-cause analysis mindset; investigate defects deeply, not symptomatically.

· Preventive approach; implement measures to avoid recurrence of issues.

· Proactive ownership; anticipate risks and act early with minimal supervision.

· Resourceful problem-solving using available tools and collaboration.

· Continuous improvement; propose enhancements to system design, performance, and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

· Minimum 5–7 years in software development.

· Experience in HMI/display systems; railway/mission-critical exposure is advantageous.

Technical Skills

· Proficiency in C# and C++

· Excellent SQL database skills (schema design, query optimization, performance tuning, troubleshooting).

· Networking: TCP/IP, HTTPS, RS232.

· Windows environment expertise (configuration, deployment, PowerShell scripting).

· Proficiency in Git (branching, merging, reviews) and JIRA (task/defect tracking).

· Experience with AI coding tools to enhance productivity, quality, and debugging.
