Senior Software Functional Safety Engineer - Automotive

STMicroelectronics in Italy is seeking a highly skilled SW Functional Safety Senior Engineer to contribute to software functional safety for automotive and industrial embedded software on STM32 and Stellar MCUs.

The role acts as a safety expert within Automotive & OCF, supporting development of safety-certified products, safety libraries, and customer projects while ensuring compliance with ISO26262/IEC61508/IEC60730.

Develop safety-certified software for automotive embedded systems. Lead safety analyses and verification activities across projects. Collaborate with AUTOSAR-based solutions and safety libraries. Support customer projects while ensuring ISO26262 compliance. Master degree required in Electronic engineering or Computer science. Minimum 5 years of experience in safety-critical software. Hands-on with ISO26262 and ASIL decomposition.
