Senior Software Security Analyst and Engineer

You will conduct security research and analyze system designs, specifications, codebases, tests, comments, and dependencies for vulnerabilities. You will document findings, recommend mitigations, develop security tools and solutions, contribute to reports, and communicate findings to colleagues and consulting clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct security research to identify critical vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze technical designs, documentation, and specifications for security issues.
  • Perform manual code reviews and investigate code repositories, tests, comments, and dependencies.
  • Propose mitigation and remediation strategies for identified security issues.
  • Communicate security issues and research findings to team members.
  • Design approaches to security issues in code and systems.
  • Develop security solutions, documentation, code, and related artifacts.
  • Engineer systems, tools, and products that secure data in transit and at rest.
  • Develop preventative approaches to avoid security issues.
  • Participate in project report preparation.
  • Provide research and engineering for consulting engagements and internal projects.
  • Work cross-functionally to meet project deadlines and goals.
  • Participate in meetings and collaboration efforts.
  • Share knowledge of security best practices and industry advancements.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of one or more of Rust, Go, C++, Circom, zokrates, Solidity, JavaScript, and Clarity.
  • Familiarity with current security best practices and advancements in related fields.
  • Expert knowledge of theoretical cryptography and implementation, or expert knowledge of distributed systems and consensus mechanism analysis.
