Senior Software Security Engineer

What you can expect from us:

• You will work on consulting and software development projects for clients such as AXA, BMW, Deutsche Bahn, and ZDF

• You will design, develop, and implement software solutions by applying AI methods and tools throughout the entire software development process (e.g., LLMs, agentic frameworks, code generation, and test automation)

• You possess many years of experience and expertise in secure software development, allowing you to apply and adapt best principles and practices for secure software development, such as NCSC, OWASP, or Mitre, within our projects

• You will work with modern technologies such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Spring, or Vue – depending on your strengths and interests, you will contribute some of these to our projects and be responsible for IT security

• You will design and build secure cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, IONOS, Google) for the applications we develop

• You will represent Accso as a reliable partner throughout the entire project lifecycle – from acquisition to acceptance – and proactively share your knowledge

What sets you apart:

• You have successfully completed a university degree in Computer Science or a comparable discipline

• You bring sound, in-depth knowledge of software engineering and feel comfortable in both the backend and frontend

• You have mastered Secure by Design, Zero Trust, and other IT security principles and have already successfully applied them in complex and demanding projects

• You possess profound knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and Mitre CWE Top 25, apply these practices, and mitigate corresponding risks

• You have experience with automation in the context of DevOps and the integration of security tools (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST) within it

• You act entrepreneurially, take responsibility, and impress with confident, target-group-oriented communication with a wide variety of stakeholders up to the board level

• You speak fluent German (at least C1 level) and very good English (at least B2)
