- We lead system and integration testing, including hardware/software interactions.
- We design and execute manual and automated regression testing.
- We develop and maintain automated test scripts using Ranorex or similar tools.
- We manage the defect lifecycle, including logging, tracking, triage, and re-testing.
- We own and deliver test reporting, dashboards, and final test summaries.
- We provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior test engineers.
- We support estimation activities and oversee team workload planning.
- We collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team, contributing to ceremonies and continuous improvement.

We are recruiting for a Senior Software Test Engineer / Test Lead to support the delivery of multiple software releases for our Royston-based client. This is a 12-month contract initially, with the potential to be extended, working 9:00am to 5:30pm in a mainly office-based environment. The role is hands-on and leadership-focused, combining test strategy ownership with day-to-day technical delivery within a collaborative Agile delivery programme. The position is outside IR35, with a salary of circa £50 per hour, and office presence is required due to device testing requirements.
