Senior Software Tester
Summary
Senior Software Tester creates test cases, logs and tracks defects in JIRA, and collaborates with teams to ensure software quality through manual testing and UAT.
Job Responsibilities: -
- Creation of test scenarios - tests cases with reference to user stories, functional user specifications documents for UAT.
- Log, manage, track and close UAT defects/bugs in JIRA.
- Document all test results.
- Reporting, escalating of problems and issues to Product owner, Business Analyst, or Development Team.
- Work closely with UAT lead, development team leaders and software development members.
- Participate in daily stand-up call, defect triage calls and other project meetings.
- Assist UAT Lead in UAT Test Planning and execution reporting.
Required Skills & Experience: -
- At least 6-8 Years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
- Should have team lead experience.
- Working knowledge on test management software (e.g., JIRA) and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiar with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Attention to details and ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
