In this role, you will be deployed on AWS Professional Services engagements. Working alongside customers to design, build, and deliver cloud transformation projects on AWS. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping enterprise customers architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions that leverage the full breadth of the AWS platform. As a Senior Solutions Architect within Cloud Kinetics’ Proserv Pod, you will be embedded in AWS Proserv engagements, leading technical delivery, developing solution blueprints, and mentoring junior team members. You will collaborate closely with AWS Sales, Partner teams, and customer stakeholders to drive successful cloud adoption outcomes.</div><div class="sds-body-l-book sds-text-neutral-body sds-margin-bottom-16" style="color:rgb(32,32,32);font-family:DarwinSans;">Key Responsibilities:</div><div class="sds-body-l-book sds-text-neutral-body sds-margin-bottom-16" style="color:rgb(32,32,32);font-family:DarwinSans;">Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership</div>Serve as a senior technical advisor to enterprise customers, understanding their business needs and translating them into cloud architectures on AWS.Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and executive briefings with C-level and senior technical stakeholders.Own the end-to-end technical delivery of Professional Services engagements, ensuring alignment with customer success criteria and AWS best practices.Produce high-quality architecture diagrams, solution design documents, and technical proposals.Solution Design & Cloud ArchitectureDesign and implement complex, enterprise-scale solutions across AWS services including Compute, storage, networking, databases, analytics, ML/AI, security, and DevOps tooling. Develop reference architectures, Well-Architected Framework reviews, and cloud migration strategies for diverse customer environments. Guide customers through migration of on-premises workloads to AWS, including lift-and shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting approaches. Ensure solution designs incorporate security, compliance, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization best practices.Delivery & Project ExecutionLead and participate in Agile project delivery, driving iterative solution development with measurable outcomes Collaborate with engagement managers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across project deliverables, escalating risks and issues as appropriate. Develop automation scripts, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform), and deployment pipelines.Thought Leadership & Practice DevelopmentContribute to the development of ProServ service offerings, accelerators, and reusable assets that improve delivery efficiency. Author whitepapers, blog posts, and technical content to advance thought leadership in key practice areas. Mentor and coach junior Solutions Architects and Associates, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Act as an internal subject matter expert (SME) and resource for complex technical questions across the ProServ team.Partner & Ecosystem CollaborationCollaborate with AWS Partner Network (APN) partners on joint customer engagements, co-delivery models, and enablement activities. Work closely with Cloud Kinetics account teams and AWS Sales teams to support pre- sales activities, scope engagements, and build customer proposals. Maintain awareness of the AWS partner ecosystem and third-party tooling to recommend the best-fit solutions for customer needs.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience<ul><li style="line-height:20px;">7+ years of experience in IT/cloud architecture, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles.</li><li style="line-height:20px;">5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS (or equivalent public cloud platform).</li><li style="line-height:20px;">Proven experience leading technical delivery engagements for enterprise customers in a consulting or professional services capacity.</li><li style="line-height:20px;">Demonstrated expertise in two or more of the following domains: cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, data & analytics, DevSecOps, ML/AI, or application modernization.</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li style="line-height:20px;">Deep proficiency with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, EKS/ECS, and related services.</li><li style="line-height:20px;">Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Direct Connect, load balancing, and CDN.</li><li style="line-height:20px;"> Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.</li><li style="line-height:20px;"> Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Java, Go, or similar).</li><li style="line-height:20px;">Solid knowledge of security principles: IAM, encryption, network security, compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, FedRAMP).</li><li style="line-height:20px;">Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and GitOps workflows.</li></ul>Certifications<ul><li style="line-height:20px;">AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (required).</li><li style="line-height:20px;">One or more additional AWS Specialty certifications (Security, Networking, Data Analytics.</li><li style="line-height:20px;">Machine Learning, or Database) preferred.</li></ul>Multi-Cloud Architecture Experience designing and delivering solutions across multiple cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) in addition to AWS, including multi-cloud networking, identity federation, and workload portability strategies.
