Senior Solution Architect (Custody/Wealth & Asset Management)

emagine is seeking a Solution Architect with extensive expertise in the wealth and asset management sector, ideal for those excelling in a strategic role at the intersection of architecture, business, and large-scale transformation.

About the Assignment

In this role, you will take on a leading architecture position within our custody transformation program, instrumental in guiding our strategic overhaul from a comprehensive perspective. This program is critical for enhancing our savings and investments offerings. By modernizing our custody infrastructure, we are creating a state-of-the-art custody platform. Collaboration with the Program Architect will be essential, and you will function as their deputy.

Your role involves actively leading and contributing to a significant digital transformation while building entirely new capabilities. The objective is to establish our position as a front-runner in the wealth and asset management domain. Extensive collaboration with technology and architecture stakeholders throughout the organization, alongside business and business services representatives, will be a key component of your success.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Driving and shaping the architecture transformation agenda for the custody program.
• Ensuring close collaboration with various departments regarding front-end applications, business layers, ledgers, authorization, cloud, API, AI, and data management.
• Designing secure, stable, and future-oriented end-to-end solutions.
• Aligning architecture roadmaps with other architects across relevant departments.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders to accurately understand needs and shape comprehensive solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Solution Architect; 5 years as a Senior Architect.
• Track record of successful architecture-driven transformations in complex environments with diverse technologies.
• Experience leading large-scale technology transformations, including systems modernization and replacements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of wealth, savings, trading, and investment services from a digitalization perspective.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable roadmaps.
• Pragmatic and creative approach to developing innovative solutions for complex challenges.
• Familiarity with APIs, modular architecture, and data-centric designs.
• Outstanding relationship-building and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of financial markets regulations and directives.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for articulating concepts and engaging stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience as the Lead Solution Architect in major transformations in the financial sector.
• Hands-on experience in modernizing legacy platforms to cloud solutions.
• Experience designing AI components within solutions.
• Background in AI-driven architecture for developing machine-readable solutions.
• Knowledge or experience in cyber security and security architecture.

Other Details:

This position involves an integral role in a large-scale digital transformation project. The work location and mode (remote or on-site) will be confirmed during the application process, and the program is expected to have a considerable duration.
