We work across Business Groups, IT, and regional teams to build scalable solution architectures, reusable software capabilities, and new vertical solutions.

【Role Overview】
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to shape the software architecture behind Delta’s next-generation cross-BG solutions.
You will define how complex industrial and energy systems are decomposed into reusable microservices, APIs, data models, and application services, and work closely with domain experts, IT teams, and external consultants to turn architecture into deployable solutions.

This is an architecture leadership role. You are not expected to be the primary developer, but you must have strong technical judgment and be able to challenge, review, and guide engineering teams.

【Responsibilities】
1. Solution & Software Architecture

• Assist to define Cross-BG reference architectures across software, data, edge, cloud, and OT systems.
• Decompose complex solution requirements into well-defined microservices, APIs, and reusable software capabilities.
• Define system boundaries, service responsibilities, data flows, integration patterns, and deployment architecture.
• Balance scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and practical implementation constraints.

2. Architecture Standards & Governance

• Establish microservice, API, data integration, and architecture standards.
• Review designs from IT teams, Business Groups, and external consultants.
• Identify reusable capabilities across multiple vertical solutions and avoid one-off system design.
• Maintain architecture principles, reference models, and technical decision records.

3. Cross-BG Solution Development

• Work with domain experts to integrate power, energy, facility, automation, and software systems.
• Translate domain requirements into scalable software architecture.
• Support POC, pilot, integration testing, and architecture validation.

4. AI-Ready Architecture

• Define data and service architectures that enable future AI applications and intelligent agents.
• Ensure APIs, data context, service boundaries, and platform capabilities are designed for future AI integration.

【Qualifications】
Required

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, solution architecture, cloud platforms, IoT, or large-scale software systems.
• Strong understanding of microservices, API design, distributed systems, data architecture, and cloud / edge architecture.
• Proven ability to decompose complex systems into clear service boundaries and reusable components.
• Strong technical judgment and experience reviewing architecture and engineering designs without necessarily being the primary developer.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across business, domain, software, and engineering teams.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Preferred

• Experience in energy, power electronics, data centers, industrial automation, microgrids, or IoT.
• Familiarity with SCADA, EMS, BMS, DCIM, Modbus, BACnet, OPC UA, or industrial integration.
• Experience defining enterprise-level API, microservice, or data integration standards.
• Familiarity with AI platforms, semantic data models, digital twins, or AI-agent architectures.

Within the first 6–12 months, you will help:

• Establish a practical Cross-BG reference architecture.
• Define reusable microservice, API, and data integration standards.
• Establish an AI-ready architecture foundation.
• Become the key architecture counterpart for IT teams and external consultants
