Senior Solution Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant to join our Professional Services team to build and deliver our first-in-class Purchase to Pay and e-invoicing solutions for customers around the globe. As a senior member of our global implementation team, you bring strong technical consulting skills, deep solution expertise, and the judgment to guide complex, multi-stakeholder projects. You will play a key role in securing Basware's and our customers' success, working closely with regional Project Managers, Solution Architects, our Product Management organization, R&D, Production and Support - and mentoring less experienced consultants along the way.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engagements with customers to understand their business needs and environment, working closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects and other Solution Consultants

• Design, configure (through various applications and by use of proprietary programming language), and test Basware's AP and e-invoicing solutions to meet customers requirements

• Implement interfaces to the existing software environment (e.g. ERP, Archive, Purchasing)

• Implement, test and deploy document exchange flows using custom and standardized mappings for widely used file formats/standards (EDI, XML, UBL, IDOC)

• Supporting the solution design, effort estimation and project planning

• Understand and be able to consult on Purchase to Pay business processes

• Getting familiar with different ERP systems (e.g. SAP FI/MM, Oracle) in order to integrate our solutions with them

• Use AI-assisted tools (e.g. GenAI assistants, automated testing and documentation tools) to accelerate solution design, configuration and testing

• Develop and maintain technical documentation

• Provide technical support to customers during implementation and post-implementation, including troubleshooting of AI-driven exceptions

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Consultant or in a similar solution/technical consulting role, with a track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder software implementations

• Proven experience with software implementation, configuration, and testing

• Experience using GenAI assistants or low-code/AI-powered tools to speed up configuration, testing or documentation is a strong plus

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems is a plus

• Advanced English skills (written and spoken) is mandatory; French and/or German language skills are a plus

• Experience with procurement, finance, e-invoicing protocols (EDI, XML, APIs), ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle), and e-procurement platforms is a plus
