Senior Solutions Architect (EDW Enterprise Data Warehouse Migrations)

Databricks in Italy is seeking a Solutions Architect (EDW Migrations) to design and drive migration strategies for large-scale EDW deployments to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will collaborate with regional GTM leadership and account teams to craft adoption plans, develop assets, and guide field teams through migration steps.

You will work with Product Specialists for Data and Governance to ensure scalable, measurable outcomes, mentor the EMEA SA community, and articulate

Lead regional migration strategy and adoption for large-scale EDW migrations. Develop scalable migration processes and technical guides. Build assessment tooling and support field teams. Act as tier-3 escalation point for complex migrations. Mentor regional Solutions Architects to scale the practice. Provide feedback loop to Product Management and Engineering. Deliver thought leadership via whitepapers and talks. Handle the most complex technical challenges. 8+ years of customer-facing experience in pre-sales, architect, or consulting roles. Legacy Data Warehouse modernization and EDW migration knowledge across major platforms. Hands-on experience with Lakehouse architecture including Spark, Python and SQL. Excellent written and verbal communication; cloud architecture in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
