Senior Solutions Engineer (Data Center)
Summary
Designs and implements enterprise data-center and ICT solutions, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud/hybrid infrastructure, while providing pre-sales technical support and solution proposals.
We are seeking candidates with proven experience in Data Center and ICT solutions, including servers, storage, virtualization, networking (switches, routers, and firewalls), and cloud or hybrid infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure, with a strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and scalable infrastructure solutions. While certifications such as CDCP are an advantage, the role primarily focuses on expertise in IT infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization within enterprise and service provider environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, recommend, and implement Data Center and ICT infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements.
- Provide technical consultation and pre-sales support for enterprise networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud solutions.
- Prepare solution designs, proposals, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored solutions that address customer business needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution workshops.
- Support proof-of-concept (POC), implementation planning, and solution optimization.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and vendor solutions to provide innovative recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering (ECE), Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3–4 years of experience in IT networking and/or cybersecurity.
- Experience in a data center environment or a related industry is an advantage.
- Proficient in at least two (2) of the following technologies/vendors: Cisco, Nutanix, HPE, or Huawei.
Certifications & Training
- Training from at least two (2) of the principal vendors listed above.
- Professional-level certification from at least one (1) of the principal vendors.
