Senior Specialist / Assistant Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications
DURAPOWER TECHNOLOGY (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Senior Specialist / Assistant Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications
The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and high-energy Senior Specialist / Assistant Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications to shape and amplify our brand voice in the rapidly evolving decarbonisation landscape. The role will work closely with all functions across the organization to systematically capture, validate, and synthesize the inputs required for effective decision-making and successful execution. You will play a pivotal role in defining how Durapower is perceived globally — translating our technical edge into market positioning that drives commercial growth.
You will be responsible for articulating the technical superiority, safety standards, and lifecycle value of our NMC, LMFP, and other battery solutions to OEMs, operators, and industrial partners. The role bridges the gap between complex electrochemical engineering and compelling market narratives, ensuring Durapower remains a thought leader in the global transition to decarbonisation.
What you will do
- Marketing Strategy: Support the development and co-own execution of Durapower's go-to-market strategy — identifying target segments, defining buyer personas across OEMs, fleet operators, and industrial partners, and mapping the competitive landscape. Translate market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable strategies that sharpen our positioning and support revenue growth. Partner with commercial and product teams to align marketing priorities with business objectives and pipeline development.
- Brand Identity & Positioning: Assist to develop and steward a cohesive brand strategy that positions Durapower as the technology leader in the NMC and LMFP battery space. Define key messaging pillars and ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
- Technical Story Telling: Translate complex technical attributes — energy density, safety, cycle life, charge rate, and cost competitiveness — into value-driven narratives tailored to specific industries and stakeholders. Support in developing whitepapers, case studies, application briefs, and sales collateral that clearly communicate why Durapower's solutions are the preferred choice.
- Sales Enablement: Equip the global sales team with pitch decks, technical data sheets, competitive battle cards, and ROI tools that clearly articulate Durapower's value proposition at every stage of the buyer journey. Ensure sales and marketing are tightly aligned on messaging, target accounts, and campaign timing.
- Multi-Channel campaign management: Develop and execute integrated marketing campaign across, industry journals, emails, LinkedIn, forums, battery websites and magazines, tailored to respective regions.
- Public relations and media: Manage relationships with energy and technology trade publications, draft press releases regarding partnerships, technology and production milestones, and ESG achievements.
What we’re looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, ideally within battery, EV, oil & gas and automotive industries
- Prior experience in brand marketing or brand positioning within a B2B company, with exposure to developing and maintaining a brand strategy
- Experience supporting/co-owning and managing a marketing strategy end-to-end — from segmentation and positioning through to campaign execution and performance reporting
- Proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies that have demonstrably contributed to pipeline or revenue growth
- Technical Literacy – Ability to grasp complex electrochemical and engineering concepts and communicate them effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic B2BPositioning – Understanding how batteries integrate into complex supply chains, with differentiated value propositions across industries and geographies
- Experience producing whitepapers, case studies, press releases, and executive thought leadership content
- Strong storytelling instincts — able to take a dense engineering brief and turn it into a narrative that resonates with a C-suite buyer
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling organisation with limited structure
What’s in It for You
- Work at the forefront of global decarbonisation - shape how advanced battery technologies power the transition to cleaner mobility and industrial energy systems across commercial vehicles, marine, construction, and infrastructure sectors.
- Accelerated exposure and career growth - gain deep exposure to battery technology, industrial markets, and global stakeholders. High performers will take on increasing ownership, visibility, and strategic scope as the business scales.
- Direct access to leadership and cross-functional impact - work closely with engineering, sales, operations, ESG, People, and senior leadership to influence real business decisions—not just marketing outputs.
- Global platform, real-world impact - build campaigns and narratives that reach customers and partners across Asia, Europe, and beyond, with your work represented at major industry events and trade publications.
