In this role, you'll:

You will be working as part of the AI Governance team delivering ethical, responsible and transparent use of Data and Artificial Intelligence across Transport for NSW. You will play a key role in shaping how AI is designed, assessed and governed, providing expert advice, practical guidance and assurance while supporting innovation and public trust.

You will lead new and practical ways to embed ethical AI governance in a complex public sector environment with diverse stakeholders, technologies and delivery models.

About you

Your strong analytical, ethical and stakeholder engagement skills, formed across data, technology, governance, risk, policy or regulatory roles, will see you navigate complex ethical challenges, influence outcomes without direct authority, and translate technical risk into clear, workable guidance to lead to consistent governance, reduced risk and trusted AI outcomes.

You’re recognised as a trusted advisor, skilled at developing and operating governance frameworks, experienced in data and AI ethics, regulatory compliance and assurance for emerging technologies.

You're a great communicator and are eager to contribute to a team with a positive working culture.
