• Prepare and process recurring German and European reporting deliverables, including SFTR transaction reporting, AWV reporting, ECB investment-fund statistics and BVI statistics, as well as client-specific reporting such as VAG and Solvency II TPT reporting where applicable.
• Process and reconcile accounting, transaction, position, counterparty and reference data, perform plausibility checks and period-on-period variance analysis, and resolve differences before reports are finalized.
• Manage reporting calendars, source-data cut-offs, statutory and contractual deadlines, submission requirements and distribution channels, and actively follow up missing inputs, rejected reports and late deliverables.

• Process acknowledgements, validation feedback and reconciliation results from regulators, trade repositories, clients and other recipients, and resolve breaks and error messages promptly.
• Work closely with Fund Accounting, Securities Data Management, Tax, Depositary, Custody, Technology, Compliance, Product, auditors, clients and international production teams to resolve reporting dependencies and maintain consistent data lineage.

German regulatory and financial reporting processing expertise
• Good practical knowledge of end-to-end regulatory reporting processes in a German KVG or fund-administration environment under the KAGB and relevant European requirements.
• Experience processing several relevant reporting regimes, such as AWV, ECB investment-fund statistics or BVI statistics, depending on the supported fund and client scope.
• Understanding of the data required for regulatory reports, including positions, transactions, derivatives, counterparties, classifications, issuers, valuations and fund master data, and the ability to trace reported values back to source information.
Reporting processing and issue management
• Experience preparing and processing reporting deliverables across internal teams and service providers, including coordinating inputs, validating data and completing submissions on time.
• Ability to perform reconciliations and logical and analytical checks, including investigation and correction of significant changes, missing populations, duplicate records, incorrect counterparty or asset classifications and source-system differences.
• Experience processing corrections and resubmissions following validation errors, recipient feedback or identified data issues, with clear documentation and timely resolution.
Professional capabilities
• At least three years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting, fund administration, fund accounting, investment operations, audit or a comparable financial-services environment.
• Strong analytical judgement and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring production cycles, prioritize deadlines and resolve routine reporting exceptions independently.
• Ability to work independently within defined responsibilities and collaborate effectively with international production teams, external service providers and specialist functions.
• Very good written and spoken German and English are required for regulatory documentation, stakeholder communication and cooperation across locations.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with reporting platforms, XML-based submissions, data-quality tools, workflow solutions or automation is an advantage.
