Senior Specialist, POM Product Owner
Summary
Owns and refines product backlog for a fintech platform, writing specs and prioritizing features with Agile teams to deliver customer-driven financial solutions.
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Product Manager to join our Product team. This role is located in Chennai or Pune
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Under direction, works closely with Senior Product Owners and stakeholders to understand user needs, prioritize backlog items, and assist in the execution of Agile ceremonies.
Writes specs for minor features and contributes meaningfully to specs for major features.
Makes implementation trade-off decisions to help get the product built and launched with low incidences, in partnership with management.
Ensures QA of a product prior to launch, triages and prioritizes bugs, and uses data, user feedback, and research to generate actionable customer insights.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related discipline.
1+ years of product experience.
1-3 years in the financial industry.
Experience defining user stories guided by stakeholders and supporting refinement of development user stories and ongoing discussions/reviews.
