Senior Specialist - Software Engineering (Data)

Experteer Italy is seeking a Senior Specialist - Software Engineering (Data) to lead design and maintenance of enterprise-grade Java applications backed by databases. You will align technical deliverables with product goals, guide developers, and provide L3 support across the software lifecycle in a banking-adjacent environment.

Collaborate with product owners to translate objectives into technical requirements. Analyze change requests, design solutions, and guide implementation. Support development teams and oversee design, testing, and modification phases. Participate as part of the L3 support team. Design specifications and develop solutions per technical design. Bug fixing and enhancements of work packages and services. Build and maintain IT solutions using Java technologies. Incident handling and problem resolution. Change management and deployment activities. Documentation and knowledge transfer to client teams. Monitoring and infrastructure support. Extensive Java experience with enterprise-grade applications. Strong database skills across Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server. Experience with Spring, MVC, AOP, and messaging frameworks. CI/CD experience with Jenkins and Maven.
