Specialist - Technology Procurement
The Senior Specialist - Technology Procurement at Qiddiya Investment Company is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement processes related to technology products and services. This role supports the company’s mission to establish a premier entertainment and cultural destination by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of technology solutions. The specialist collaborates closely with internal departments and external vendors to deliver the best value and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end technology procurement processes including vendor selection, RFPs, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with technology suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand technology needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Monitor vendor performance and manage risk associated with technology procurement.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging technology trends.
- Prepare procurement reports, documentation, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in technology procurement or related procurement roles.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor negotiations.
- Proficiency with procurement software systems such as SAP, Ariba, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify cost-effective procurement solutions.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian market and business environment is preferred.
