Senior SQL Server Database Administrator

We are seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team in Andhra Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery, and performing database migrations and upgrades. As a Senior SQL Server DBA, you will be responsible for the performance tuning of SQL queries, implementing backup and restore strategies, and maintaining the integrity and security of our database systems. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and availability. - Conduct database migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime. - Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans to safeguard data. - Monitor and tune SQL performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. - Collaborate with development teams to optimize T-SQL queries and database designs. - Implement and manage high availability solutions to ensure continuous service. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SQL Server and database management. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. - Proficient in SQL Server Database Migration and Upgrade processes. - Solid understanding of T-SQL and SQL Performance Tuning techniques. - Experience with Backup & Restore procedures and High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) strategies. - Familiarity with Azure SQL Database and its management.
