We are expanding and looking for a Senior SRE Engineer to build a platform that enables experienced teams to choose, spin and observe standard building blocks easily and help us reach our moonshot mission.
What you’ll do @Omnisend:
- Ensure that Experience teams can set up and manage their datastores autonomously;
- Building self-service and introduce standards for Experience teams to manage their Cloud resources - share knowledge and best practises;
- Look after and scale observability stack - Prometheus, Thanos, Grafanalabs Loki and Grafanalabs Tempo.
- Experiment with new stack elements or services;
- Ensure that Kubernetes cluster running ~400 microservices is stable and scalable.
We expect that you’ll bring:
- Hands-on experience with any datastore (preferably MongoDB, PostgreSQL, mySQL, Redis);
- Understanding and knowledge of IaaS (Terraform, Ansible, etc.);
- Experience with building CI/CD pipelines;
- Knowledge of cloud services (any major cloud provider, preferably GCP);
- Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian);
- Experience with Kubernetes;
- Software development knowledge with Golang (huge plus).
