Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility is to support the accounting needs for several communities.
• Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and account reconciliations.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate filing of all accounting records.
• Review and manage accounts payable processes and documentation to support cost control procedures and risk assessments.
• Review and manage accounts receivable processes and documentation such as invoices, payments and adjustments, deposits, collections, and other irregularities.
• Perform detailed research where needed to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and recommend necessary spending adjustments and controls to enhance overall profitability.
• Prepare 1099 worksheets and file annual 1099 forms.
• Assist with month end close, audits and other tasks as needed.
