Senior / Staff data Engineer (Agentic AI)
Summary
Designs and optimizes scalable data pipelines and agentic AI workflows to process sensor/image data and support advanced analytics and automation initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in building scalable data architectures and AI-driven automation systems. In this role, you will design and optimize high-performance data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for structured and unstructured data, including sensor and image data, while collaborating closely with data scientists and engineering teams to support advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and optimize data structures and architectures to ensure availability, accessibility, and performance
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to process structured and unstructured data (e.g., sensor and image data)
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, business analysts, and engineering teams in AI and advanced analytics projects
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions for data management and processing
- Drive innovation by introducing new technologies and improving data architecture
- Design, implement, and operationalize agentic workflows and AI orchestration systems (e.g., MCP, multi-agent systems, autonomous pipelines) to enable scalable intelligent automation
- Lead and contribute to cross-site digitalization and data initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
- Min. 5+ years of experience in data engineering, big data, or a related field
- Min. Master / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Data Science or equivalents
- Proven experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and production data systems
- Strong hands‑on experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL in real‑world projects
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases and modern data architecture
- Practical experience collaborating in cross‑functional AI/data science teams
- Proven hands‑on experience with agentic workflows and AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., MCP, LangChain, multi‑agent systems)
