This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Staff Engineer, ERP Oracle CPQ Technical Consultant based in India.

This is a senior technical leadership opportunity for an experienced Oracle CPQ professional working on complex enterprise transformation initiatives. You will lead end-to-end Oracle CPQ implementations, integrations, and technical solution design across critical business processes. The role combines deep hands-on expertise with architectural thinking, stakeholder engagement, and technical leadership. You will work across configuration, pricing, commerce flows, approvals, document generation, and CRM/ERP integrations. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions while influencing technical direction. The position also offers the opportunity to mentor consultants, shape best practices, and collaborate with globally distributed teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Oracle CPQ Cloud implementations and integrations, including configuration, commerce flows, pricing, approvals, and document generation.
  • Own the technical design and delivery of complex Oracle CPQ solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions and define appropriate implementation strategies.
  • Configure and customize Oracle CPQ modules to address complex business and enterprise requirements.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot BML scripts, BMQL queries, and XSLT-based document templates.
  • Design and architect integrations between Oracle CPQ and CRM/ERP platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, SAP, and other enterprise applications.
  • Architect and implement integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware-based integration patterns.
  • Lead client and stakeholder workshops to understand business processes, gather detailed requirements, and establish effective technical solutions.
  • Prepare and present solution designs, technical approaches, integration architectures, and recommendations to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout unit testing, system integration testing, UAT, production deployments, release management, and post-production support.
  • Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure Oracle CPQ implementations comply with enterprise architecture principles, business rules, security requirements, integration standards, and development best practices.
  • Champion version control, DevOps, release management, and enterprise application deployment practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants and provide technical direction to implementation and delivery teams.
  • Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives, reusable technical assets, documentation, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional, distributed, and global teams to ensure successful delivery of Oracle CPQ solutions.
  • Requirements

    • 8+ years of professional experience, with significant experience in enterprise application consulting and hands-on expertise with Oracle CPQ Cloud.
    • Strong hands-on proficiency in BML, BMQL, XSLT, and Oracle CPQ configuration modules.
    • Deep understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, pricing models, commerce flows, approval workflows, and related enterprise business processes.
    • Proven experience designing and delivering Oracle CPQ integrations with CRM/ERP platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, SAP, or similar systems.
    • Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and middleware-based integration architectures.
    • Extensive experience with Oracle CPQ configuration, commerce processes, pricing logic, document generation, customizations, and technical troubleshooting.
    • Strong ability to diagnose and optimize BML scripts, BMQL queries, and XSLT-based document templates.
    • Proven experience supporting the full enterprise delivery lifecycle, including unit testing, system integration testing, UAT, production deployment, release management, and post-production support.
    • Familiarity with version control, DevOps practices, CI/CD concepts, and enterprise application deployment processes.
    • Strong solution-design and architectural thinking, with the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and recommend scalable solutions.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, stakeholder-management, and client-facing skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead workshops and translate complex business needs into clear technical solutions.
    • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience providing technical direction to engineering or consulting teams.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, multicultural, and globally distributed teams.
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Oracle CPQ certification is an added advantage.
