Senior / Staff Engineer - Platform

You will build and maintain infrastructure for repeatable stress and scale testing, operate a multi-cloud environment, and standardize CI/CD and release workflows. You will improve metrics, tracing, logging, performance and chaos testing, and lead security vulnerability workflows and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Docker and Kubernetes harnesses for repeatable stress and scale testing
• Operate the multi-cloud footprint against reliability and cost targets
• Consolidate CI/CD into reusable standardized workflows
• Own version tagging, hotfix paths, PR review scaffolding, and the release lifecycle
• Implement observability for metrics, traces, and logs using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
• Define SLOs for critical services
• Automate chaos and performance tests in CI to gate releases
• Run bug and vulnerability workflows with auditors and Immunefi
• Triage incidents and turn postmortems into tests, metrics, or runbooks

Requirements

• 5+ years building production systems at scale
• Security fundamentals, including threat modeling and vulnerability classes
• Understanding of distributed consensus protocols, including safety, liveness, fault assumptions, and failure modes
• Benchmarking and performance bottleneck analysis
• Live incident response experience
• End-to-end systems thinking
