Senior Staff Engineer, Salesforce Architect (Consumer Goods Cloud)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 8+ years
• Strong experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and development with strong experience in Consumer Goods Cloud (CG Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud and its data model.
• Experience defining OOTB vs Configuration vs Customization approaches in Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, and security architecture.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
• Good understanding of Salesforce data modeling and extension strategies.
• Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce development best practices.
• Experience designing scalable, performant, maintainable, and upgradeable Salesforce solutions.
• Experience reviewing technical designs and providing technical guidance to development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the overall CG Cloud solution architecture, technical vision, design decisions, and solution blueprint.
• Define and govern the appropriate OOTB vs Configuration vs Customization strategy for CG Cloud implementations.
• Design scalable and maintainable CG Cloud data models, extensions, and application architecture.
• Define data architecture, integration architecture, API strategy, and security architecture for CG Cloud solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and upgradeable Salesforce/CG Cloud solutions.
• Lead the design of end-to-end Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud solutions and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate Salesforce capabilities and reusable components to minimize unnecessary customization.
• Design and manage integrations between CG Cloud/Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, platform events, and other integration patterns.
• Ensure solutions follow Salesforce security, data management, and architectural best practices.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce OOTB capabilities and reusable components.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Review solution designs, technical specifications, and development deliverables for architectural alignment and quality.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, data, and performance issues and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Support technical discussions with stakeholders and provide recommendations on architecture and implementation approaches.
• Ensure technical documentation is maintained for solution architecture, data models, integrations, and key design decisions.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
