Senior/Staff Firmware Engineer (AIoT Signal Processing Firmware)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Design, implement, and maintain firmware for AiOT SoC platforms.
Collaborate with algorithm teams to integrate and optimize signal processing algorithms on embedded platforms.
Optimize firmware performance, memory footprint, power consumption, and system latency.
Support hardware bring-up, FPGA validation, silicon verification, and system integration activities.
Develop unit tests, integration tests, and diagnostic tools to validate firmware functionality and reliability.
Investigate and resolve firmware and hardware interaction issues.
Work closely with hardware, software, validation, and product teams to meet product requirements and schedules.
Contribute to firmware coding standards, technical documentation, and development best practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of embedded firmware development experience in real-time systems.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded targets.
Knowledge of digital signal processing
Experience developing firmware on ARM Cortex-M and/or RISC-V processors.
Understanding of embedded debugging techniques using JTAG, SWD, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
Experience with firmware development throughout the product lifecycle, including bring-up, integration, validation, and production release.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, or signal analysis tools for algorithm validation and performance analysis.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple development teams.
Proven ability to thrive in a small, agile engineering team, taking initiative, prioritizing tasks and handle evolving technical challenges, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability from design through validation and delivery
