As we prepare to open the doors of Tolka Valley Nursing Home, we're looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse to help shape the standard of care in our brand-new home.

As a Senior Staff Nurse, you'll work closely with our clinical leadership team, supporting the Person in Charge (PIC), guiding colleagues and ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care

• Supporting and mentoring nursing and healthcare colleagues

• Assisting the PIC and clinical management team with daily operations

• Promoting residents' dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing

• Ensuring clinical documentation, care plans and medication management meet professional standards

• Supporting clinical audits, risk management and compliance with HIQA standards

• Helping establish a positive, collaborative and resident-focused care culture from day one

About You

• Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI PIN

• At least 4 years' nursing experience, ideally in nursing homes, older persons' care, rehabilitation or acute hospital settings

• Previous experience working within the Irish healthcare system is essential

• Good knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred care

• Strong clinical judgement, communication and organisational skills

• Confidence in supporting, guiding and mentoring colleagues

• A genuine commitment to improving the lives of older people

• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends across a seven-day roster

• Legal right to work in Ireland
