Senior / Staff Nurse (Oncology / Apheresis) #HJO

Job Responsibilities

• Provide specialised nursing care to oncology patients, including patient assessment, care planning and clinical monitoring.

• Assist with apheresis procedures, including patient preparation, monitoring and post-procedure care.

• Monitor patients for treatment-related complications and respond promptly to clinical deterioration.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing protocols.

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing specialised oncology treatments and procedures.

• Coordinate patient care with doctors, allied health professionals and multidisciplinary teams.

• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment procedures, potential side effects and post-treatment care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure safe patient handovers.

• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety and clinical protocols.

• Support junior nurses and participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.

• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.

• Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and practising certificate.

• Minimum 3–4 years of post-registration nursing experience, preferably in oncology, haematology or a related specialty.

• Prior hands-on experience in apheresis procedures is strongly preferred.

• Good communication, interpersonal and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

• Compassionate, responsible and committed to delivering quality patient care.

• Willing to undergo cross-training in additional specialised oncology services.
