Senior Staff Partner Engineer
You'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing global payments as part of Ripple's delivery team, working alongside skilled solution engineers to lead the implementation of payment solutions with customers and partners across the globe. You'll partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to bring new features to market, handle enterprise scale customers and partners independently, and serve as the functional and technical specialist driving business objectives for both customers and Ripple. You'll break down project objectives into manageable tasks, guide internal and external resources through execution, and own the entire delivery life cycle from training and testing through launch support. You'll also travel to customer and partner locations as needed to guide them toward maximum benefit from their implementation.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Ripple's Product and Engineering teams to bring new products and features to market
- Collect, refine, and prioritize customer requirements
- Handle enterprise scale customers and partners independently
- Serve as the functional and technical specialist to achieve business objectives of customers, partners, and Ripple
- Drive the design, deployment, and successful usage of new solutions
- Break down project objectives into manageable tasks and assemble internal and external resources to execute them
- Own the entire delivery life cycle including training, meetings, testing configurations, and launch support
- Guide customers and partners to achieve maximum benefits from their implementation
- Travel to customer and partner locations when work related travel resumes (20-30%)
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT/software proven experience
- Experience working in software solutions and delivery with major global organizations and industry groups
- Ability to enable real-world, global use cases with new technologies and innovative thinking
- Strong understanding of network principles and design, and an appreciation of financial services networks
- Prior experience with institutional crypto custody solutions is a significant advantage
- Full understanding of wider market dynamics, challenges, and technological advancements surrounding Ripple and its customers/partners
- Excellent team-working and interpersonal skills to build trust and confidence among customers, suppliers, partners, and colleagues
- Experience driving customer/partner software integration engagements as the go-to person for the organization
- Proactive with ability to lead others and generate energy and momentum
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues at a network, database, and/or application level
- Hands on experience with software development, ideally writing production grade code
