About the role
We’re looking for a senior Product Manager to own Nu Global’s growth agenda end to end. This is a dedicated Growth role: you will diagnose the funnel, identify the highest-impact constraints, and run a portfolio of growth programs that turns customer and market insight into measurable, sustained growth.
You are a relentless funnel optimizer—equally comfortable getting into the data, shaping the growth thesis, and driving execution with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Risk, and Legal. You will build a disciplined, high-velocity experimentation system and scale the interventions that work across markets. The goal is not to maximize sign-ups in isolation, but to acquire the right customers, help them reach value quickly, and grow engagement and advocacy while protecting customer trust.
Key responsibilities
Growth strategy and portfolio: Translate Nu Global’s business goals into a clear growth strategy, measurable outcomes, and a prioritized roadmap, making trade-offs explicit.
End-to-end funnel performance: Own the product growth funnel from acquisition and channel handoff through onboarding, verification, activation, first value, referral, and retention. Use data and customer insight to find and remove friction.
Growth programs: Build and run a portfolio of coordinated growth programs, including coordination with other Nu markets (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, US), from problem framing to scale.
Experimentation at pace: Establish a fast, rigorous test-and-learn cadence: shape hypotheses, align on success and guardrail metrics, and decide whether to scale, iterate, or stop.
Growth loops and journeys: Develop product-led growth mechanisms such as onboarding, referral, lifecycle journeys, and reactivation that can compound across markets.
Analytics and measurement: Partner with Business Analytics on funnel instrumentation, cohort analysis, and experiment evaluation, making sound calls when attribution is imperfect.
Cross-functional delivery and responsible growth: Lead through influence across functions and country teams, building growth that is scalable, compliant, and worthy of customer trust.
Qualifications
Experience: 8–12 years of product management experience (Senior Manager level), ideally mostly in Growth.
Global Expansion: Prior experience with Global Growth Brands such as Uber, Airbnb, Revolut, Wise, PayPal, King, ByteDance, Temu, Shein, Lovable, Duolingo, Open AI is a strong plus.
Growth outcomes: Strong record of diagnosing funnel performance and delivering material improvements across acquisition, onboarding, activation, conversion, referral, or retention.
Growth program execution: Experience leading growth programs end to end, from opportunity sizing and hypothesis through experimentation, launch, and scale.
Analytical rigor: Ability to interrogate funnels and cohorts, define success and guardrail metrics, and evaluate experiments, even with imperfect attribution.
AI fluency: Practical experience using AI to accelerate growth discovery, experimentation, or operations, with sound judgment on customer value, privacy, and risk.
Leadership and execution: Hands-on, high-ownership style, able to move quickly from insight to action and align senior cross-functional partners.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Portuguese and/or Spanish is a strong advantage. Nice to have: French, German, or Italian.
