Senior / Staff Program Manager, Sustainability Operations

Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Establish a roadmap to advance Micron’s carbon-free electricity supply strategy to improve our Sustainability initiatives in alignment with our long-term plan.

  • Assist with long-term financial analysis of projects for decision-making purposes.

  • Develop and nurture relationships with key developers, regulators, and other collaborators for long-term, world-class benefits.

  • Oversight of technical, market, and regulatory changes in U.S. and APAC CFE sectors incl. carbon-neutral fuel.

  • Take an active role working with Procurement and Government & Public Affairs teams in regulatory processes. Influence the development of new carbon-free and balanced supply solutions offered by utilities and other suppliers.

  • Develop executive reports, communications, and training materials regarding Micron's carbon-neutral electricity achievements and assist with both internal and external questions related to sustainability matters.

  • Present strategy, progress, and challenges to key collaborators including management for mentorship.

  • Experience using AI tools to improve project management, data analysis, reporting, forecasting, and collaborator communications.

  • Ability to find opportunities for AI-based process improvements while balancing business, operational, and governance requirements.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and adopt emerging AI technologies.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (10 to 20% at times).

Experience

  • 3+ years’ proven experience in utility-scale carbon-free solutions including wind, solar, hydro, and storage projects on sourcing and management upon commercially online.

  • 5+ years’ experience in environmental sustainability efforts and environmental engineering fields.

  • Established history of effectively managing multiple projects with all internal/external customers and consultants.

  • Experience working with detailed financial models of Carbon-free electricity projects, identifying key risks and sensitivities, and leading all related due diligence efforts (financial, commercial, technical, development).

  • Experienced in the Asia Pacific region related to carbon-free electricity and environmental sustainability reporting, familiar with frameworks like the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and Environmental Attributes Certificates.

  • Strong interpersonal abilities, guaranteeing clear and sound communication across all levels.

  • Strong in compiling executive-level reports and presentation materials.

  • Proficient with AI, Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.

  • Program and Project management experience focusing on attention to detail.

Additional advantages:

  • Experience in electrical grid interconnection processes including other sources of clean electricity such as nuclear, green hydrogen, fuel cell, Ammonia etc.

Strong understanding of RE100, CDP, and Greenhouse Gas Protocol
