Summary
Leads technical strategy for Gusto’s financial systems, migrating from a Ruby on Rails monolith, defining AI-native architecture, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build regulated fintech infrastructure like account/balance management, card systems, and lending.
You will serve as a technical lead across multiple pods in the Money Group. You will shape technical vision, guide architecture for financial systems, migrate services from a Ruby on Rails monolith, evaluate external partners, prototype new products, solve complex problems with cross-functional partners, make AI-native architecture decisions, and mentor engineers.
