Senior Strategic Account Manager - SST Utility Scale Solutions
Enphase is expanding into utility-scale energy infrastructure with Solid State Transformer (SST) solutions designed for applications including data centers, utilities, renewable energy projects, and grid modernization.
As Senior Manager, Utility Scale Business Development, you will lead the commercialization of this emerging business and play a key role in shaping Enphase's utility-scale strategy. Working closely with executive leadership, engineering, and cross-functional teams, you will identify market opportunities, build strategic customer relationships, and drive revenue growth in a rapidly evolving market. This is a high-impact individual contributor role based in your home office in the United States.
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Enphase's utility scale SST solutions
- Build, manage, and convert a qualified pipeline of opportunities with utilities, developers, EPCs, IPPs, asset owners, and other strategic customers.
- Own the complete sales cycle from opportunity development through contract award.
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships across key customer accounts.
- Build relationships with independent engineers, lenders and other parties that influence product qualification and project bankability.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, supply agreements, warranties, and service contracts.
- Partner with engineering and field applications teams to align customer requirements with product development.
- Coordinate responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, regulatory developments, and customer needs to guide business strategy.
- Represent Enphase at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- 10+ years of sales or business development experience in utility scale solar, energy storage, power conversion, electrical equipment, or energy infrastructure.
- Proven success originating and closing complex 9 figure utility transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong relationships with utilities, developers, IPPs, EPCs, or renewable energy customers in the U.S. market.
- Understanding of the utility-scale project lifecycle, including development, procurement, financing, construction, and operations.
- Experience leading commercial negotiations and managing complex RFP/RFQ processes.
- Strong financial, commercial, and forecasting skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience introducing new technologies into the utility scale energy market is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the United States.
The OTE range (basic salary and sales compensation) for this position is $195,000 to $340,200 and may vary based on experience, skills, and location. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits, with final compensation determined in accordance with applicable laws and internal equity.
