Overview: We are looking for a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead category management across a range of indirect spend areas, including HR, Marketing, Facilities, Finance, Travel, Contingent Workforce (contractors/outsourcing) and Operations. You will drive sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, and manage the contract lifecycle from start to finish. This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver real cost savings and operational improvements. You will also coordinate contract reviews across Legal, Privacy, InfoSec, and other teams, keeping things moving and removing bottlenecks. We expect you to bring a data-driven mindset and a comfort with AI and digital tools to sharpen procurement decisions. If you are someone who takes ownership, builds strong relationships, and thrives in a global, fast-moving environment, we would love to hear from you.
What you will do:
- Lead the development and execution of category strategies across indirect spend areas, identifying opportunities to optimize cost, improve supplier performance, and deliver measurable business value.
- Own sourcing initiatives end-to-end — running competitive bids, negotiating commercial and contractual terms, and driving outcomes with full accountability for timelines and stakeholder alignment.
- Coordinate and quarterback the contract review process across Legal, Privacy, InfoSec, AI Council, and Finance, proactively following up to remove delays and ensure timely execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders and business partners, aligning sourcing strategies with business objectives and influencing decisions at all levels.
- Use data analytics and AI-driven tools to identify savings opportunities, track supplier performance, and generate insights that improve procurement decision making
- Manage supplier relationships proactively, tracking performance, addressing risks, and escalating issues to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain up to date market intelligence on suppliers, pricing trends, and emerging technologies relevant to your categories.
- Lead or contribute to company-wide programs such as vendor management initiatives or procurement policy rollouts, applying strong project management and stakeholder skills
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
- Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in strategic sourcing or procurement activities
-
Hands-on experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems is required (e.g., Coupa, Asana, SAP Ariba, Oracle, Jaggaer)
- Demonstrated experience leading sourcing initiatives across indirect categories such as HR, Marketing, Facilities, Finance, or Operations
- Strong knowledge of procurement and sourcing principles, contract types (MSA, SaaS, Licensing), and the ability to conduct financial analysis to evaluate sourcing options
- Prior exposure to software industry is a mandatory requirement
AI Skills/Knowledge:
- Comfort using generative AI tools (such as MS Copilot or Claude) in day to day work for drafting, research, analysis, presentation and summarizing information
- Ability to use data and IA driven insights to identify sourcing opportunities, track supplier performance and improve procurement outcomes
- Openness to adopting
Preferred Skills (a plus but not required):
- Experience with Coupa, Asana, and other P2P systems
