Senior Strategy Manager, Brand Partnerships, Prime Video Advertising
Posted Updated
Description
Do you want to build the strategy behind how brands show up in Prime Video's biggest series and films? Prime Video Advertising is looking for a Senior Strategy Manager to shape our Brand Partnerships business. In this role, you'll own the strategy, slate planning, and operating mechanisms behind Brand Partnerships. You'll be our primary liaison with Prime Video Programming, lead the Unified Go-To-Market (UGTM) process for priority titles, identify new growth opportunities, and own complex cross-functional programs end to end. You'll work where strategy is only partly defined, deliver independently, and influence senior leaders across Prime Video, Amazon Ads, and Amazon MGM Studios.
This role is for someone who's proactive and exceptionally organized. You'll spot a launch date slipping or a deal getting stuck before anyone asks, and you'll keep dozens of titles, partners, and deadlines on track at once. You'll also bring sharp judgment, clear writing, and the persistence to drive cross-functional decisions to closure. Many of the answers here aren't written down yet, so if you like owning complex, high-stakes problems and seeing your work show up on screen, we'd love to hear from you. With global opportunities across content, advertising, and technology, you can decide where a career with Prime Video takes you.
Key job responsibilities
- Own our most complex programs, like product placement and brand-funded content, from how deals are structured and approved to how brands are billed and the studio gets paid. Build the processes that let these programs grow without you in every conversation
- Find where the business can grow next, whether that's a new partnership format, a new market, or a new way to package our content. Size it, test it with partners, and write the case that gets it approved
- Know the Prime Video slate inside out. Size each new series and film soon after it's greenlit, looking at audience forecasts, talent, genre, and brand appeal, then recommend how big the opportunity is and share that view with the teams who sell and deliver it
- Align Sponsorships, Content Partnerships, Marketing Promotions, and Consumer Product Licensing behind one plan for each major title before it goes to market.
- Be our main point of contact with Programming, Studio Strategy, Finance, Tax, and Accounting. When a launch date moves or a forecast changes, work out what it means for our advertising customers.
- Shape the team's annual plan and business reviews. Set the goals we track ourselves against, report on progress, and flag risks early
