Main Activities and Responsibilities:
 Undertake reviews of engineering drawings to ensure compliance with CAD Standards and
Quality Systems.
 Manage and monitor the quality of work performed by others and promote a culture of technical
excellence through mentoring and training less experienced drafters.
 May function as Project Team Lead Technician and manage the drafting aspects of projects of
varying complexity and size, including planning and controlling deliverables, resource management, and maintaining communication between engineering and drafting staff on the project.
 Possess appropriate time management skills and flexibility to allow for the management of a
varying workload.
 Actively assist colleagues in achieving improved client feedback results, enhancing satisfaction,
and exceeding client expectations.
 Comply with all role-specific SHEQ obligations as required.
 Assist project setup by agreeing drawing strategy, type and size of drawings, and drawing
numbering with the project lead, and
 Identify and recommend effective methods of drawing production to ensure efficient methods of
working.
 Coordinate with the Project Lead to establish priorities and agree on drawing production
deadlines
 Develop general arrangement drawings based on engineer’s sketches and inputs from other
design team members, transforming conceptual sketches into coordinated design details unassisted.
 Responsible for the clarity, completeness, presentation, and accuracy of drawings and materials
produced
 Apply prescribed drafting standards and procedures in all drawing production activities
 Adhere to QA, document control, and archiving guidelines on all work
 Conscientiously works towards the team’s objectives and adheres to the company’s policy
 Work collaboratively with project team members on designated project activities
 Perform tasks assigned by the Principal Structural Technician or Drafting CAD Lead / Bridges
Discipline Lead / Transport GCC Head in line with his experience, discipline, and/or qualifications.

Qualifications
 Graduate of any technical course or at least three (3) years in BS Engineering or BS Architecture
course
 At least 8 years of relevant structural drafting experience
 Willing to work on a Full-Time basis in Ortigas Center, Pasig.
Experience, Skills and Organisational Knowledge
 Experienced in providing key technical expertise across a broad range of projects. Self-aware of
limitations and when should ask for help, balanced with confidence to proceed.
 High-level drafting & detailing skills
 Sound understanding of industry products and their integration with the BIM/DE process.
 Contributes to building the technical capability of others and transferring technical expertise within
the organization. Mentors others.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 Experience of working on several sized projects, as CAD support and as part of a wider CAD
team
 Advance skill in the following drafting and modelling software
- Autodesk (Revit, C3D, and/or CAD)
- Bently (Microstation) is an advantage
 Proficient in using ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and/or 12D Synergy
 Preferably with experience on Australian and/or New Zealand Projects
 Prepares engineering drawings from sketches and design information unassisted
 General awareness of Industry products and their integration with the BIM/DE process
 Ability to work under pressure
 Ability to work effectively and efficiently on global network computers using current software
applications
 Self-starter and stays flexible when priorities quickly change
 Strong team worker, with an enthusiastic, can-do approach, with the ability to collaborate and
work effectively as ‘one team’
