Fusion Civil Solutions Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based Civil & Structural engineering consultancy working on building, A&A, ERSS, temporary works and industrial projects.

We are looking for Civil & Structural Design Engineers who enjoy solving practical engineering problems and want to be involved throughout the life of a project, from structural analysis and design development to authority submission and construction.

You will work closely with our Professional Engineer and project team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your designs while receiving technical guidance for unfamiliar or complex work.

We do not expect applicants to know every engineering software package or every type of structural system. We are looking for engineers with sound fundamentals, relevant design experience and a genuine interest in developing their professional capability.

Your responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design for buildings, A&A works, ERSS, temporary works and other Civil & Structural projects.
• Prepare design calculations, structural models, sketches and engineering reports.
• Develop safe, practical and buildable engineering solutions.
• Support BCA and other authority submissions, including responses to technical comments.
• Review structural drawings to ensure they are consistent with the approved design and calculations.
• Coordinate technical information with architects, M&E consultants, contractors, clients and other project stakeholders.
• Attend selected technical meetings, site inspections and construction-stage discussions.
• Review contractor submissions, RFIs and site issues within your assigned scope.
• Identify missing information, coordination concerns and design risks early.
• Work with the Professional Engineer and project team to resolve design and construction issues.

What we are looking for

• A recognised degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least three years of relevant Civil & Structural design experience.
• Experience in a Singapore consultancy or with Singapore projects is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements, structural design standards and Eurocodes.
• Experience with one or more engineering programs such as ETABS, SAFE, PLAXIS, Prokon or ProtaStructure.
• Ability to prepare clear calculations and explain engineering decisions.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is useful.
• Experience in buildings, A&A, ERSS, temporary works, industrial structures or authority submissions will be an advantage.
• Able to work responsibly as part of a project team and seek guidance when technical assumptions or project requirements are unclear.

Candidates with stronger experience and the ability to manage projects independently may be considered for appointment at Senior Engineer level.
