Millburn has an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join our team for waking night shifts between 20:00 - 08:00.

Working Pattern:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday


Millburn is located in Cambuslang, on the outskirts of Glasgow. Our home offers residential support for 20 males and females with a variety of needs, including autistic adults and people with a learning disability. We can also support individuals with mental health and physical health needs.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team within a multi-unit registered care home. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Support Worker who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop their leadership skills while continuing to provide high-quality care and support.

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents
  • Supporting people to live fulfilling and independent lives.
  • Providing high-quality care and support in line with individual needs and care plans.
  • Working across two units and supporting the staff teams on shift.
  • Monitoring the wider site and ensuring staff are working effectively and safely.
  • Acting as a senior point of contact during the night.
  • Supporting colleagues and providing guidance where required.
  • Responding appropriately to any issues or concerns that arise during the shift.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all relevant procedures are followed.

  • An experienced Support Worker, ideally with experience in a senior or leadership capacity.
  • Confident working independently and making decisions.
  • Calm, reliable and able to respond effectively to changing situations.
  • A strong communicator who can support and motivate colleagues.
  • Passionate about providing person-centred care.
  • Organised and able to manage responsibilities across multiple units.
