What will you do as a Swim Instructor?
- The main focus of a senior swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
- Provide training to new hires and monitor proper use of the curriculum
- Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
- Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
- Ensure swimmer safety
What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?
- Previous swim instruction and proper knowledge of all four strokes.
- Childcare or teaching experience a plus
- WSI certification preferred
- CPO knowledge preferred
- Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
- Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
Expected hours: Up to 36 Hours
Pay: $16/hr+ depending on experience and qualifications
