Design, configure, and maintain enterprise on-premises and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud servers, storage systems, and network devices to support enterprise IT operations
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (CPU, memory, storage, network traffic) to ensure system availability and proactively resolve issues
- Implement and manage firewalls, access controls, security patches, and vulnerability remediation to protect IT infrastructure
- Oversee data backup solutions and conduct disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity and data integrity
Required competencies and certifications
- Hands-on systems administration experience in medium-to-large enterprise environments
- Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows Server operating systems, virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and VPN protocols
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical work experience
