Senior System Administrator (Linux & Infrastructure, over $60K)
Salary: $60,000 – $68,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Ensure high system availability and compliance with established service level requirements.
Provide ongoing system support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement services.
Participate in system implementation, upgrade, and quality assurance activities.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams, external vendors, and contractors to deliver and maintain support services.
Identify operational and technical requirements and prepare technical specifications for the procurement of hardware, software, and maintenance services.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, security, and efficiency.
Support IT security initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
Assist in managing outsourced support services and coordinating issue resolution.
Requirements
Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of post-qualification IT experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on experience in system implementation projects.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the following areas:
IT Security
Linux System Administration
Network Design and Administration
Storage Area Network (SAN)
Server Virtualization Technologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Experience in supporting large-scale and mission-critical IT systems is highly desirable.
Proven experience in managing outsourced system support operations and vendor coordination is preferred.
