Senior System Administrator (Okta / SSO Migration)
We are looking for a Senior System Administrator with strong Okta and SSO experience to join a large-scale Identity Provider migration project.
You will work closely with the company’s Senior System Administrator to migrate 130+ cloud services and applications from OneLogin to Okta, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to end users.
This is a hands-on role for someone who has practical experience with enterprise authentication environments and has previously participated in an Identity Provider (IdP) migration.
What you’ll be working on
Migrate 130+ cloud services and applications from OneLogin to Okta
Develop and document the operating procedure for application migration
Plan the migration approach and sequence for individual applications
Configure and execute SSO integrations in Okta
Prepare migration-related communications and coordinate application cutovers
Monitor applications after migration and troubleshoot authentication or provisioning issues
Work with SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), MFA/authenticators and other authentication methods
Support user provisioning through SCIM, REST APIs and related technologies
Partner closely with the internal Senior System Administrator throughout the migration
Help ensure a smooth end-user experience during the transition between identity platforms
What we’re looking for
5+ years of experience in System Administration, System Engineering, IAM or a similar infrastructure role
Strong hands-on experience with Okta
Previous experience with at least one Identity Provider migration
Solid practical knowledge of SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
Experience with MFA and authentication mechanisms
Understanding of user provisioning methods, including SCIM and REST APIs
Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly around SSO, authentication and application integrations
Ability to independently plan and execute application migrations
Good spoken and written English for daily collaboration with an international team

Contract: B2B / Contractor
Duration: Approximately 3 months, with the possibility of continuing through the end of the year depending on the migration approach and project progress

The goal is not simply to administer an existing Okta environment, but to actively drive application migrations together with the internal team. We are therefore looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of migrations from planning through cutover and post-migration troubleshooting.
