The Opportunity We're partnering with a large Queensland Government department to secure an experienced Senior Computer Systems Officer to provide advanced technical capability across their managed operating environment. This is a hands-on senior contract where you'll design, maintain and improve complex ICT platforms while mentoring the wider team and lifting overall capability.

The Opportunity We're partnering with a large Queensland Government department to secure an experienced Senior Computer Systems Officer to provide advanced technical capability across their managed operating environment. This is a hands-on senior contract where you'll design, maintain and improve complex ICT platforms while mentoring the wider team and lifting overall capability.
What you'll be doing
- Designing, developing, maintaining and troubleshooting solutions across operating systems, endpoint and server platforms, PowerShell, C# .NET, SCCM, Intune, Azure services and Microsoft Graph.
- Analysing complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing pragmatic, supportable resolutions.
- Developing and maintaining scripts, tools, configuration items and Graph-based integrations to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
- Reviewing designs, code and documentation from peers, providing constructive feedback and mentoring.
- Contributing to knowledge transfer, documentation uplift and process improvement to reduce reliance on individual knowledge.
- Advanced technical capability across operating systems, endpoint and server platforms, automation, Azure services and Microsoft Graph.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining software, scripts, tools and integrations using PowerShell and C# .NET.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within complex enterprise ICT environments.
- The ability to produce practical, maintainable and supportable solutions that are fit for purpose.
- Excellent communication, documentation and collaboration skills, including the ability to review work and mentor others.
- Queensland Government contract engagement, based on-site in Brisbane (initially for the first two weeks and during any notice period, with hybrid flexibility available thereafter at the supervisor's discretion).
- A clear Criminal History Check is required prior to commencement.
