Our Training & Simulation Systems business has close to 40 years of experience in delivering innovative learning, training, and simulation solutions to customers in the defence, public safety and security, and enterprise domains. We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to oversee the operational support, maintenance, continuous improvement of enterprise applications and supporting infrastructure. This role combines application support management, incident and problem management to ensure systems remain secure, reliable and aligned with business objectives.

Be Part of Our Success

  • Coordinate application support activities to ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and user-reported issues.
  • Establish and maintain support processes, service levels, and operational procedures to support business requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, test, and implement application and infrastructure changes in accordance with established change management processes.
  • Oversee application maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades, releases, and configuration changes.
  • Assess risks associated with system changes and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule and communicate planned maintenance and release activities.

Qualities We Values

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience supporting, maintaining, and operating enterprise or cloud-based application solutions.
  • Proven experience managing application support, infrastructure operations, and business-critical systems in a production environment.
  • Hands-on experience supporting cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Java technology stacks, including technologies such as Spring Boot and Apache Tomcat.
  • Proficiency in administering and supporting relational database platforms, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation, scripting, and system monitoring tools is advantageous.
