senior system analyst (weekends, shift) #IKR
Summary
Design and build scalable microservices and event-driven systems using Java/Spring Boot, Kafka, and Kubernetes, while supporting CI/CD pipelines and production operations.
Note: Successful candidates need to be comfortable with working on weekends and shift as and when required
Job Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical solution designs.
- Design and implement scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Manage and support containerized applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Design and implement Kafka-based messaging and integration solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, product owners, architects, and developers throughout the SDLC.
- Perform production support activities including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production rollouts.
- Drive platform reliability, monitoring, observability, and operational excellence.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Good to have more than 10 years of experience in software development, system analysis, or platform engineering.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB, and MongoDB.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, or similar tools.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with security best practices and secure coding principles.
