Senior System Consultant (Pega) - Contract

Job Responsibilities:

Experienced Consultant with expertise in Pega to deliver enterprise business process management (BPM) and digital transformation solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to design, implement, and support Pega applications while ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions within agreed timelines and project objectives.

• Analyse business requirements and recommend Pega-based solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Design, develop, configure, and implement applications using the Pega Platform.
• Lead technical solution design, application configuration, and system integration activities.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation, including solution designs, process flows, and implementation guides.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and budget.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot application issues, and implement enhancements to improve system performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with organisational governance, security standards, and software development best practices.
• Support business development activities by contributing to proposals, solution approaches, effort estimations, and technical presentations.
• Mentor junior consultants through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and peer reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve development methodologies, delivery processes, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Strong expertise in Pega Platform application development and configuration.
• Experience in Pega case management, workflows, business rules, and integrations.
• Knowledge of Java and REST/SOAP web services is an advantage.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and version control tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
• Ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
