·Software architecture expertise:

Strong experience designing large-scale, real-time or near–real-time control software for complex industrial or semiconductor equipment. Experience with modular, layered architectures and system-wide orchestration.

· Automation & diagnostics:

Proven experience implementing automated test sequences, diagnostic workflows, and recovery logic in high-reliability systems.

·System integration capability:

Experience integrating software with hardware, sensors, actuators, valves, motion systems, and metrology.

Ability to translate physical system behavior into safe, deterministic software control.

·Defectivity & process awareness:

Understanding of wafer- and reticle-related defectivity concepts and how system behavior influences contamination and yield. Experience interfacing with inspection and measurement systems is a strong advantage.

·Cross-functional collaboration:

Proven ability to work effectively with hardware, vacuum, flow, thermal, stage, handling, and metrology engineers. Clear communication of software behavior, assumptions, and limitations to non-software stakeholders.

· Quality & ownership mindset:

Strong ownership for software reliability, system robustness, and defectivity impact. Experience supporting formal design reviews, audits, and system
